B18can't get my suspension back together after swap
I just got my B18C into my hatch, and i was putting my axels and brakes back together....and when i tried to put the steering knuckle back on and tighten the nut the whole thing started to turn (stud and nut) so it won't get tight. Same thing with the one on the bottom (whatever its called)....what the heck is wrong....i'm so dang frustrated....once i get the wheels on i'm taking it somewhere cause i don't have the time to work on it.
please help

if the same thing is happening to you that happened to me then dont worry nothing is wrong.... you just need to push the knuckle up into the balljoint better, it is not fully seated. i was stressing when this happened to me too

I had the same type of problem with my tie rods. Beat the hell out of them, mushroomed them, and tore the boots bigtime. Ended up i had to replace both tie rods and my lower ball joint boots.
Hopefully you just need to apply more pressure. Good luck.

ok....it worked (thank God)........but now i have a new problem....i got it done on the drivers side, but i went to start on the passenger side, and i can't get the axel through the brake piece (hub?) wtf....did Autozone give me the wrong part? if i push really hard and turn it it will catch for a second, but then it will slip....i've beat it with a mallot and everything....it just won't go in ....the other one went in no problem. i'm really getting frustrated
spin it around a bit<EDIT: the hub or axle>. a small amount of grease may help. you'll get it

tried again....took the whole hub assy off and banged the axel about halfway in....now it's just stuck there.....i give up....for a while anyways
did u check the grooves? make sure the grooves of the axle and the hub or good.
edit- just noticed u got new axles from autozone, if had to hammer them in and now it stuck, u got the wrong one bro.

they look kind of worn down....i think they are the remanufactured ones.....but it doesn't look like there is something in the way keeping them from going in...i mean....obviously there's something....but i don't know what it is.....i'm thinking about returning it.....the other axel worked fine....i already have it done on the other side
what looks kinda worn down ? the axle thread?
yea they could have put in the worng one in that box.
When u bought them , they both axles look the same? or one was newer than the other?
PS-just take it back, u got the wrong one.

i think i'll do that....plus i'll bring the hub assy with me....i hope i didn't damage it too much by pounding that other one in.....yeah one did look newer than the other
well maybe he could come over to my house and work on my car some
Good luck tho...
well it took the axel up there yesterday and it was the wrong part...but luckily they had the correct one in stock. I'm about to go install it today....whoo hoo...the end is in site. After i do the wiring i'm taking it somewhere to button it all down and make sure it's going to run right, maybe do a tune up and what not. Then i gotta get an alignment, or should i wait til i drop it?
got it all put back together and got my wheels on....now just gotta wire it....then i'm done....but i'll be taking it to a place that works on hondas for a checkup and maybe tune-up
