Default no gasket?

i dont have a brocken intake gasket and none of the auto parts stores are open here because it's presidents day and we got like 3 feet of snow, but i need to get my car running so i can go to work tommoro. will gasket sealer work?

You're talking about the intake manifold gasket? I don't think I would try that without a gasket. If you can't get one, make one out of a thin cardboard box and use copper coat on it.

you need a gasket or you'll probably have horrible idle. i wouldnt use sealer as a substitute on that. you can try making one out of cardboard, but that's gonna take a lot of work cutting all those holes.
