I called them and they told me they want $22,800 for it, I told them I'll only give them $18K. They said come and talk to them, don't know if they will sell it for $18K.

If they did sell it for that price it would be an awesome deal. I got my car from a private owner for around that price. That would mean that the dealer is making like no money on the car.

I buys some parts from there and they seem pretty cool though.

man used car dealers always try to stiff you hard on a used car. prices sometimes are outrageous. might as well buy it brand new, but since its a itr kinda screwed. they have the call most of the time

I wonder how many miles?

The service crew are pretty cool, I always take my car there, Stevens Creek Acura are a bunch of dumbasses.

i agree, i was about to buy my ITR there when they said they wouldn't go lower than 28k. I went to sunnyvale and they hooked it up. BTW, if anyone around wants a stock PY ITR contact me. I am planning to sell her ASAP.

All dealer say this just to make you come down and waste you time. When you come down, that is when the bombard you with their usual sale tatics and get your to buy at their price.

i don't know how the acura dealer is in sunnyvale but i live in union city and just bought my ITR from acura of stockton (about a month and a half ago) for 19,999, with tax and license out the door for 23,000. it's a 2001 ITR with 40k miles. it's in excellent condition and i even got the extend warranty i bought it on my own as a first time buyer. acura of stockton gets much love from me, they treated me like an adult and im only 20. they give excellent low interest rate loans, mine was only 4.9%. when i brought my car back to have one of the headlight lenses replaced they loaned me a brand new TL for the day since i wasn't from around there. so i'm sure you can find an ITR for cheaper if the dealership isn't in the bay area.

you guys have got to be shitting me, my friend and i went to go test drive the car last thursday, got to the dealership and the salesman (omar) wouldn't let us drive it, something to do with the engine being BLOWN! i guess the guy that had drove it the day before had made the car his bitch, after he was done it went from a type-r to an integra rs. we have never seen a 4 banger sound like put...put...ping...miss, *cough* hack! everything else, anyway, just wondering who the guy was that ruined the car? just to give some heads up, the sales manager is not happy, so i'd be on the lookout, omar said that whoever did this was gonna pay...literally! i hear crate engines from japan aren't cheap!

and yeah we were wondering what happened to the stickers too....he fed us some line about how all stickers are dealer installed....unfortunately, this dealer found it would be more profitable to rip them off and re-sell them!

R.I.P integra type r ....the value on every other one just went up!

integra type r - 24,000 new

b18c5 - 60,000 (yen!)

all the fun you can have with the dealership's type r - priceless!

i personally would not buy that type r because, the dealer bought the car at a auction and when I went to see the car everthing was all fucked up the front lip was broken, emblems missing, dents everywhere, cigarette burns...The reason why i know this is because I use to work there and came by to check out the car to buy it then i saw how messed up it was. Now the dealership fixed it all back to make it look like nothing happen.

is orange peel the flakes or orange? cus their all over the front too.. the interior is faded also and there like a burn on the center armrest. Random observation is there a extra line of stitching on the front of the 01 ITR's? cus those seats in there had an extra line across it that I don't have?
