Need n/a guys advice on intake manifold selection...
I am finishing my 2.1L gsr all motor engine project. I have two intake manifolds at my house to choose from, skunk2 or victor x. I know the skunk2 will give me the best mid-range power, but i am looking for the 240-250whp mark on this engine. The victor x looks like it will probably work better for my application. I have seen dyno graphs of the skunk2 vs victor x, and the victor x looks like it doesnt look like it loses any torque compared to the skunk2 but the gains above 7,000 rpm are noticable. Give me some opinions, feedback. BTW, the compression is close to 13:1 and running skunk2 stage 2 cams in the head.
Also, i have a 64mm t-body and 70mm ericks racing from previously boosted engines. I am thinking the 70mm would be the better choice for the 2.1L, any opinions on this?

I am 99% sure that i am using the 70mm, since i found that 2.0L like the 68mm t-body's. I probably will go with the victor x, but i want to hear some more opinons.
skunk2 with the 70mm TB is the way to go.
victorx really doesnt do too well from my experience
I make 240whp with an itr manifold.

Exactly the response i was looking for. I was waiting for you to respond. I will take your advice and start port matching the t-body and manifold...
hey man
from my experience with the vector X mani, It has seemed to work out really well in boosted applications, we made 243 whp on a stock form b20 vtec @ 4psi of boost... and with N/A applications we we're losing HP. I would say a port matched ITR or TWM ITB's if you feel like spending the money....
Peace

I to with the JG and 70mm Tbody. one of my friend has tested the ITR manifold VS the JG and 70mm Tbody. Lost some TQ, but the motor kept on pull till about 10K RPM and it made a big differance on the peak HP

I am running a type r IM with a 70mm TB but would love to dyno my car with the JG just to see. If you got both give them a try

i got a B16A JG intake manifold for $270 shipped. its brand new never been use. i have all the fittings for it also.
This is the 8 injector manifold with secondary fuel rail. if you want you can just plug up the 4 holes in the back of the manifold and just run 4 injectors

On the dyno graph, which one is the skunk2 and which one is the victor X? I'm guessing that the blue one is the Victor X.
