My car was just hit on friday, and it's goin into the shop sometime soon to have the fender and bumper fixed/replaced. Since there is going to be painting required, i was wondering if anyone knows how much typre r wings go for, and if they fit in the same spots as the gsr wing? I have always wanted the type r wing for my car, but have never gotten around to it, and since i am having stuff painted, i would be interested in doing it now.

As far is fitting, from what i know they fit in the same spots, but 1 of the holes where the led wire comes out will be visable.

 

Yea i have 2 holes stickin out from my ITR wing --- I just covered em up with some clear tape. If you have the means...get em bondo'd.

 

What do you mean holes? Like the wing fits in the stock gsr holes, but there is room left around it or what? I'm confused. Thanks. Also, does it look that bad?

why dont R spoliers stay on R's..?i see alot of that when i look on here..i always thought it was tacky to have an R spolier on a Gizzer or LS but dont get me wrong.. i aint tryin to "flame" all of you who have R spoilers...but i just think they only deserve to be on R's..but its only my opinon..

they are just little areas that arent filled --- the wing bolts on perfect. there are just little holes left over from where the gsr brake light wiring was.

regarding the itr wing deserving to be on R's....i think my all motor GSR is quite worthy of one...and i think it looks mighty good on it too

 

yeah thats clean..i give it up...nice nice..with the OEM kit hah.. In my book i havent recorded alot of nice integras..im kinda picky...ha i put yours in my book..

i dont like itr wings on tegs unless they have thier moldings shaved...which is why im having my moldings shaved...lol.

i don't see how the moldings would affect how the wing would look.. thats just me tho... dont get me wrong the clean shaved molding look of the itr's rock... but i live in the real world and my car is a daily so i don't think shaving that thing is practical. jus my .02

 

I don't get how the body moldings effects the look of the wing on the car, but to each his own. I bet you if ITRs had the moldings and GSRs didn't, you guys would be saying "oh to complete the look, i'd need to get side moldings". I didn't notice that the ITR did not have the side moldings until someone pointed it out to me. I guess that attributes to its lighter curb weight also =P.

I definally like the ITR wing without the LED brake light. I would like to get one, but it will be later. By the way, the car looks great. I'd like to see it in person sometime. We all missed you at the autocross yesterday.

 

lovin the coupe with out the rims..and with out the R wing..but with it..i wouldnt put it in my book...maybe they did you a favor? on the blades and being Wingless...

 

TypeR wing Both your cars look good as hell with the wing.Anyone who says they should only be on an R is jut plain hatin.That the stck wing and wingless are the only way I like a Teg.I was stupid and installed my 3 piece,I have a brand new R wing from wings west sittin in my closet but I'm wating to have it done while I get my car painted because its gonna cost a bundle.All the wholes have to be filled from the 3 piece.
