Default Type-R Road Rash

Does anybody know a good way of helping the road rash on the front of our cars? Like on the front lip where you see all the white specs from tiny rocks withering the paint away?

I dont have a better pic but im sure you all know what I mean.
Any suggestions?

Wear your battle scars proudly.

The bumper/lip/hood is a wear item, if you're that much of a wuss, get a bra.

The exterior will get damaged, there's nothing you can do about it.

they got that sticky 3M protective plastic-feeling stuff out there... it'd be alright for the front lip i suppose, but i dunno bout plastering the whole front bumper with it...

We all are, but it's just something you gotta deal with. My lip is curb rashed to hell, and my bumper has pits all over. Don't worry about it and live a little easier

Bra's can mess up a car's finish worse than any pebbles. Stay away from them unless you plan on keeping it on forever.

Face it, FBP color sucks and i use a bra all the time with cautions and nose is clean but the hood gets it. My windshield is the worse. I don't even drive on rain and snow and once a while to work on sunny day. Just that little use, Jersey highway still owns me!

i try to keep distance from trucks on any road, just make sure you're not the first car behind them. highway speeds dont help. i see cars with better paint condition that don't drive on highways as much..

i plan just to repaint front end after 2 years.. oh wait.. its already been that much... maybe another 2 years...

If they're not chips, you can try a clay bar and get all that soot and sediment off.

Add fenders to your list for me.

I have a bra for my car, and have used it for probably 5-10 thousand miles, no problem. No physical wear or damage at all. You just need to take care of it, i.e. don't leave the bra on the car if it's wet.

Edit #2: And don't put it on if the car is dirty

not all true, yes damage will accur but you can make it less severe. Stone gaurd is a great company that can fix your front end problem. As for other exterior probs, door gaurds, fender gaurds and such can prevent ding damage to a small degree..
