97 civic turn signal ????
I have a 97 civic ex and it was stolen. Since recovered and fixed , my turn signals dont always cancell. This happens expecially when it is cold out side. when warm they usually work. As I am
and dont want to bring it back to the bodyshop,I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this problem and how to fix it. I am a liscenced technician by trade but have been in the parts side of the buisness for the past 4 years due to back problems so I am sure I can fix it if I could get directed in the right direction

sounds like your wire insulator (the plastic coating) is cut or ripped somewhere and when it is cold there is moisture in the air and shorts it out. just a thought, grab a haynes manual and trace the wire... good luck!!

did they break the column lock thing...?? the turn signals are canceled when the steering wheel unwinds the other way.... when the turn signal is used... a little tooth pops out and rubs against teeth conected with the steering wheel.... i think you need another set of turn signals switches..... i think.....
