how do you get better than 1.9s 60ft times?..
Well we need to know your current setup first.
The easy answer is MORE POWER!!!!1

I'd say less weight but that;s just me.
Was this on slicks/drag radial/street tyres???
Was this on slicks/drag radial/street tyres???
i tried 7500 rpm launch and i spun all the way through 1st gear, then bogged second...
one my freinds dropped in a phantom grip in his tranny, dropped his 60s down to a 1.6 i think, mighta even been a 1.5, use to run 1.9 before.

wow , very informitive INFINITE!!!
i think the best way is to just practice, did ya try launching at anything higher but under 7500?

What slicks?
What size?
What pressure?
What pressure in rear tyres?
What width rims?
Have you played with your tyre pressures?
Have you thought of poly inserts in between the coils on your rear springs?
Does it wheel hop?
Have you corner weighted the car?
Weight bias towards the front....
Do you shallow stage?

What slicks?
MT ET drags
What size?
22x8x15
What pressure?
12 psi
What pressure in rear tyres?
32 psi
What width rims?
7" rim width
Have you played with your tyre pressures?
tried 14 psi down to 10 psi
Have you thought of poly inserts in between the coils on your rear springs?
i have adjustable shocks
Does it wheel hop?
no wheel hop at all
Have you corner weighted the car?
whats that?
Weight bias towards the front....
guessing F70%/R30% distribution
Do you shallow stage?
yes

well practice is one thing.. and get the feel of what RPM your car likes to launch at and find out what RPM is good that its not too much that theres wheel spin and not too low of RPM that it will bog.
try dropping down to 6000rpm launches. and play with the gas at launch. dont gas it all the way.
Anotehr thing too is proper rear suspension for the track. bouncy rear suspension can affect the launch.
another thing is, using diff size slicks. 22x8x13 is a good step up from the ones you have
I was getting consistent 1.77-1.81 60fts with only a 135WheelHP CRX. so more power is not the answer to better 60fts.

As Exo said power aint what you need.
I agree the 13" slicks would be MUCH better for your setup. You need sidewall!!
8 inch rims would be better too
I don't suppose you want to sacrifice by doing weight reduction. It is important. Hell, I think mine would run 2.0's with space savers
Corner weighting is where you shift the movable weight in your car to help with traction eg my fuel pump and surge tank are under my left headlight. My battery is going in front of the right wheel. Little things count as they all add up

What wheels/tires are you running in the rear?
You could try increasing your REAR tire pressure to 50psi - just for the runs.
Set your front shocks to full soft, rear to full hard.
Should drop at least a couple hundredths off 60'...
Don't forget to set the shocks and rear tire pressure back to stock before driving home... very unstable at speed on curves!
Hope this helps.
