Whats a good chasis to get started with?????
hey guys--- me and a few friend have been thinking about doing some autocross, and building a decent car just for that-- not for road use---- just looking for opinions on a nice cheap chasis we could start out with---------of course were looking for it to be in the honda- accura world 2---- what u guys think???????
if you want to learn how to drive, drive what you have now and dont worry about tuning, tires or HP - just drive it and learn how to be smooth and carry momentum.
i have a 92 hatch, but im setting that up to be quick on the strip, and kinda be a nice show car as well( jdm style of course)--- so i really dont wanna be too harsh on her--- but as far as drivin--- i dont know---- what should i be practicing--- i mean i can take a turn and kick the back out a little and control it, but im looking to learn to be better and more technical about it--- i dont mind beating on my car a litle now, but within the next few months its gonna get painted and ****---- any tips or pointer----- i was thinking or a crx---- are they good for autocross???
crx's are very succesful in autocross. get a first generation, they're cheap, i just bought mine for 120. fun little car too.
since u live in NJ, there are plenty of autocrosses around. Check out http://www.autox4u.com and my website http://www.autocrossnyc.com
I drive a yellow ITR and am very willing to help people out. I should be at the March 1 autocross at englishtown.
