WHAHOO - Just hit 80,000 miles in my red ITR....(56K beware)!!
G'day y'all,
Although my ITR's odometer measures kilometres.... I thought it relevant to mention this acheivement in miles, given this forum is USA based!?
As per my signature (those figures were when I last filled up), my faithful ITR has covered 128,739 kms or about 80,000 miles in just over 3 years, for an average of 2,162 miles / month.... which is a hell of a lot of VTEC, in any one's language!!
I've driven a lot of the East coast of Australia, taken the car on many dirt roads, complete a few driving courses, entertained a few ladies and attended 12 or so 'track days' - without any major incidents. Plus most importantly, the car still brings a BIG
to my face.... each and every time I drive it!!

Thank you Mr.
(aka Mr.
) for building such a fine automobile!!
Here are a few of my favourite pictures -

Here's a couple more, that were taken about 2 years ago.... but still bring back memories of a great weekend's driving, with fellow ITR/S2K owners!!

80k of fun!!
80k of fun!!

You betcha it's been FUN.... and will continue to be!!

Eventually, the car will be 'put out to pasture' on the race track.... where I'll hopefully have a M3 as my daily ride and the ITR will be 'stripped out' & modded for track ONLY use!?
Congratulations.
MR is not only my favourite Honda colour, I think it may be my favourite shade of red (for automotive paint) as well.
P.S. I'd sure hate to walk out of that pub all shitfaced. The way the walls lean out would really play tricks on my poor, befuddled mind.

nice car dude!!! you have long way to go, 80K is nothing.
btw, thats the first RHD ITR I seen that has a Aftermarket Sunroof. Is everything ok with it? no leakage, rattles?

As for the Pub.... it's mainly a tourist attractiion and does not representative a 'typical' Aussie pub!
i've seen all of these pictures before...

As for the S/R - it's an after-market (Hollandia) Honda 'dealer' option, which was fitted 3 days after I picked up the car. I have it open all the time (rain & high speeds excepted of course) and I've had no troubles with it.... apart from the outer lip causing a 'squealing' sound, when I go over 200 km/h or 120mph!!
