Default clutchmasters stage 2 clutch?

Anybody have any experience with the CM stage 2 clutch kit? It comes with a carbon-kevlar full face friction disk. It is on my list of considerations for this spring.

Thanks1

Tommy, the stage 2 and the stage 3 cost the same, the only difference is the pressure plate. Stage two is 70% over stock, and stage 3 is 110% over stock. I use a stage three, it is perfectly streetable with no chatter.

The key is a proper break in and you will have no problems. I can chirp third on demand, the clutch does not slip. I recently dropped my tranny to install another with a different FD, and the clutch still looked brand new. HTH

I have a prelude and I have a clutchmasters stage 3, yeahthe key is break'n it in so it sits properly. CM suggests you drive 500 miles of normal driving for it to sit in properly or to "break" it in. The clutch is awesome, grips very hard and very pleasing. A littlestiff but its worth the cash

i have stage 2 an i have driven many of my friends cars with stage 3's.IMO the stage 3 grabs to hard an is on teh border line of not being comfortable to drive,on the other hand i feel my stage 2 is the perfect balance between the stage 3 an a stock clutch.

I like full face clutches to keep my car streetable. How well does the stage 3 allow for slipage? Is the stage 3 clutch a on/off clutch (no slippage)?

you can slip the stage 3, but you have to rev a little higher. It is a full faced clutch

Friction disk

Pressure plate

Anythoughts on the stage4?
is it worth it for a stock R? and daily driven with many track events?
