Default Suspension experts help wanted

I'm starting to get fed up with this. I have a 2000 GSR with 29K miles w/ Neuspeed sport springs and Koni yellow's. whenever I go over a "washboard" (not very bumpy) type of unevenness in the street the front Drivers side suspension makes a rapid, dull, thudding noise. The dealer said it was the strut/spring. However, I switched back to stock strut/spring and its making the noise. To top it off I think the shock blew after 3 days.

Any suggestions as the cause of the thudding noise? Ball Joints, tie rod ends, bushings? OR is this noise normal?
