Default apexi n1 question????

hey guys, question for u fellas. I'm looking to buy a apexi n1 exhaust and i was just wondering what is the pipe diameter is it 2.25 or 2.50. Also i was wondering if it has a bottle neck or is it straight through. Oh and last thing what is the part number for the exhaust is it "APEX-162KH09" or is it somthing else.

alright well this is my dilemma. i want to do alot of work to my car and i need an exhaust that has 2.5 diameter piping. I can't use a test pipe cause it's illegal to have one and i don't want to risk getting **** from cops. I was leaning towards apexi n1 or the racing medallion cause i heard it's straight all the way through without the bottle neck. so i dunno what to get now and i have about $500 bucks to work with so i'm up fo suggestions. oh and i have a 5zigen fireball right now.

N1 does not have any bottlenecks, it has the same dia. 60mm throughout the whole system. Only bottleneck would be a 2.5"cat to the 60mm 1st flange. Love my N1.

I don't think I saw any visible bottlenecks on the Apex N1. I checked mine all thoroughly and hand my hands all over that thing before I installed it. Maybe there's one that I couldn't (or didn't) see, but I think it looks pretty well put together to me.

Also, I'm not too sure about the Tanabe RM, but goern-r just had a two inch section cut out of his, just before the canister. I'm thinking maybe it was to remove a bottleneck (but again I'm not 100% sure). Someone with the RM might be able to help out with some info on that one. Possible bottleneck?

Where, and to what extent are the bottlenecks in the Zigen? Just wondering because I have the axle back of this and was wondering if the b pipe woud be an upgrade, or downgrade.

an axle back is a bling item only ....to add any kinda of performance you;' d have to increase the entire size of the piping from the cat-back ......

axle back only changes sound ....not power

the old version does indeed have a bottleneck where the mid-section and axle-back connect. the newer version doesn't not have any bottlecks.

i had a Tanabe RM, and yes it had a bottleneck at the cat flange.
