******my car wont start*******i need HELP NOW**********
i have a 94 del sol and i did a head swap and now the car wont start. it turns over and acts like it want to start but then dies. the cam gear is lined up with the timing gear on the crank and the plug wires are on right but it wont start. what could be wrong?

Are you sure you got the wires on the distributor on the right spot? Who did the rebuild? If somebody did it, have that person look at it, if you did it your self, then check the plug wires, and also is the cam marks lined level as the crank timing is lined up. If they so are, then check fuel pressure to ensure youre running the proper pressure.
Did you say it starts up then dies? it could be the fuel pump, how old is your filter? it could be many many reasons why it would not start. You need to do diagonsitcs on it to pin point the problem.

if it is a map sensor then the check engine light would come on right? i'm not getting a check engine light and it wont start. all the plugs are hooked up right. i was reading in my haynes manuel and it said to make shure the intake manifold is grounded, because this could cause it not to start and make it seam like there is somthing else wrong. is this true? and if so, where is the ground? is that the mount on the bottom of the intake?
