Default First Gen Integra Swap...among other things

Okay. I currently have a 1987 Integra sitting under my carport. The battery, the camshafts/gears and a belt or two are sitting in the hatch. All the bolts and screws that go to the head are in my passenger seat. Needless to say, this car has been sitting for a little while, after part of the block melted on me.
I have a friend that said he would sell me a 1989 Accord LX-i hatch with around 90k, automatic, good shape all in all, for $500. I used to have a 3rd gen Accord hatchback, so naturally I was interesting in this car. My only problem with it is the automatic tranny, because I know I would get sick of not being able to shift gears and feeling like a race car driver, heh.
I checked, and the KBB value for this Accord is around $2600. My idea is that I sell it and get a b16a for the Integra. I've checked, and one site offers the swap for $1350, and hasport has B-series mounts for my car for $650. My next door neighbor has already told me that he would help me with a swap, so labor isn't really an issue. I know Sport Compact did an article on this kinda thing last year, I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks about it. I could always keep the Accord and do an auto-manual conversion in that, and I would be pretty happy there. The Integra needs new brakes, a bunch of new body panels and god knows what else I'll find out I need if I do this swap.
THEN, I could always use the $2600 and buy a 5th gen Civic, my holy grail.

I was wondering what everyone else thought about all of this.
