Default transmission

I have a 91 Honda Accord LX.
My TCM went out.

My question is, should the replacement part number be identical to the bad TCM.
I have been calling around and I cannot find the identical part number.

The part number that I have is 28100-PX0-822-M1. I have been calling auto dimantlers and instead of the 822, they have 28100-PX0-824 and 28100-PX0-840. Do these parts have the same functionality as the 28100-PX0-822 and can they be used in its place with no problems?

I have called some dealerships and they will not give me a straight answer.

I hope someone can help.
