I get the too lean/rich code (code 45) and it runs way rich at idle, so much that it can't stay running when coming to a stop. And also it seems to get really hot under the hood after only running a short while, even with the hood open.

i pulled the fuse under the hood, thats how the helms said to do it? right? and this problem has been around for a while now, and even had it looked at a local shop, and they reset the ecu. it ran ok for like 20 minutes after they looked at it, but then it was back to normal. is there another way to reset the ecu besides the fuse?

yes i reset the ecu twice by removing the neg from the battery.. i think the car its running rich. everytime that check engine light comes on.. the car doesn't perfom as fast as it was.. the car slows down on power...
