Default We should have a wheel and tire forum

what do you guys think...we should have a wheel and tire forum link in each forum..such as have a wheel and tire forum in prelude and so on....the link can be within another forum for easy access....i know for one trying to get an answer for a wheel or tire question can be tough sometimes and this can be a good way to get a knowledge base for wheels and tires for anyone that needs it within a specific forum....you can add whatever you like to it and if youre not clear about what i am proposing then just post a reply and ill explain it to you

I think its a good idea, have one for each car forum....as in one for the Prelude one for the Integra etc.

1. what about those that dont have a membership to po.com????
2. did you think about that???
1. They're SOL
2. Yes
I guarantee that the $6.53 that it costs to sign up for PO.com will get you a hell of a lot further than this post will.

Well, did you ever think people are too cheap to pay for a subscription to po.com when they have this forum and many others to get knowledge from??? dont get me wrong...I am proud to be a po.com member and I have learned so much more from there than I have here but its nice to have more than one place to go and look for answers....

and as for laughin whatever the hell ur name is...if you dont have something that will contribute then dont even bother posting it..all youre doing is flaming...i thought it would be a good idea to have a wheel and tire forum because trying to find an answer on here or getting your posts answered regarding a wheel question is damn near hard as hell..im also suggesting a way to make this forum better...its a great forum...dont get me wrong..i learned alot from it as it was the first one i signed up to but it can be better....and one more thing....what makes forums bad is people like you flaming on an idea that is a good one...so if you dont have anything good to say than dont say it!

Some people are too cheap, and that is the problem. This forum has no where near the wealth of information that po.com has.

Yes some people are cheap. I can't do anything about it. However you posted a poll and I told you my opinion. Did you honestly think that everyone would agree with you? I like H-T the way it is, so I said so. I did not flame you. Instead I stated my opinion. I try very hard to not flame prelude owners on H-T because many of them are also members of PO.com. I don't think that Malken would like the idea of me flaming people over here and then being nice to them on PO.com. That's not good for the image of the Moderators and I like being a Moderating the Nitrous forum. Now I've said my peace. Are you done?

Wheels and tires are hardly complicated enough to need a totally seperate forum

Slicks questions -> Drag racing forum
Roadrace/AutoX tire questions -> AutoX forum
Prelude tire question -> here

Not that tough eh?

yes, patience is one of my virtues but when you need an answer asap it takes a while...but oh well....i just thought that it would be good to have a forum like that...and do you guys really think newbies would know to post questions in the right forums..they will just go to their car forum and post away..meanwhile if they go to their car forum and see there is a wheel and tire forum than they can post there ....its a more centralized place for a specific piece of information...

as you can tell, people would rather smoke weed everyday than have a wheel/tire forum..... if you think we should have a wheel/tire forum, here is not the place to create a topic, a better place would be the general discussion board, or better yet, contach dustin, since he does own the site you know

And no i did not know who the owner was.......and looking at the poll...since you cant beat em then join em...chalk one up for me for smoke weed everyday..nows a good time to start...

it would be really cool to have a wheel and tire forum. i mean, poeple would have less questions, and people searching for wheels/tires would just go there and see what best fits their style and need. i thinks its agreat idea.

and it would take about 2 days for people to respond because no one would bother going into such a pointless forum. adding more forums doesnt make the site better. going back to the old adage.. quality != quantity.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion so think what you think but other people thinks a good idea...and it takes 2 days for people to respond because they come into their specific forum and expect to see their forum related technical questions such as engine, suspension, etc., and they see wheel and tire question and dont bother answering..if there was a wheel and tire forum if they wanted to post or repley about wheels thats where they would go...i myself find it discouraging when i see a wheel and tire question in a technical forum..other forums have a seperate forum for this and many other reasons
