Default 93 lude swap possibilities: N/A

A friend from work wants to swap a motor into his ~93 lude. He took a ride in my built GS-r'd hatch and fell in love(what can I say, LoL). So I immediatly thought of an H22, (He has the F23A, I believe), Would this be the appropriate route to go with him?

He is staying N/A, so no F/I for now, just a nice vtec swap...He has around 3k to drop, I can get the motor complete changeover for ~2100 w/LSD, and figuring in my labor, what price quote sounds reasonable?

Basically:
1: What motor is the best N/a route to go?
2: What is a good price quote for all things needed?
3: assuming we go H22A, what is standard price for this work?

Your thoughts please

okay, the best N/A motor would be the CTR or ITR motor, but that would not be right in a prelude, so i would say an h22 would do fine.

3. $500

What I mean is are there going to be other issues(other than what can be expected with a swap?) Like do i need any other things like mounts or anything?

the swap is a straight mount in. the only thing you have to worry about is the wiring harness, and if you get a JDM engine you have to swap some of the accessory from the USDM engine onto the JDM. i believe this might be the same for all the engine swap. the motor mount are the same. good luck

you people are so unoriginal. Fab somethin crazy in there. Everyone wants to be in the mags, but no-one wants to put a SR20 or something in their ride. Im speaking hypothetically of course, I think it would be hell trying to fit an SR20 into a lude. But there must be some strong FWD motors that can do the job. Or even a RWD motor that can be transversely mounted and mated to a FWD transaxle.

cheers

why spend all that extra money to fab up something retarded like that, when you can get a **** ton of power out of an H22 for what it would cost to fabricate some crazy **** like that

Well, With the general consensus being that of an H22a, The info has been passed to the owner and we will begin work in a week or so...

Thanks all....
