What kind of locking hood pins...?
Trending Topics
I have those hood locks on my CF hood for about a YR now and i love them...I painted the chrome part flat black and left the key part alone...You can't even see them from far away only up close...and they are better because if someone wants to see under your hood you can say i forgot my key...heheh...Like i do...

Because the lock cylinder and the receiver both have to be at the exact same angles in order for it to lock(in all directions). If yuo notice on our hoods there not flat but curve, so when you install the receiver on the radiator/headlight suppoer housing you needto use some trickery to actually bend the mounting points to match with the cylinders in the hood, all while not making it to noticable to the naked eye(unless you dont care how it loooks) Then when actually putting the locks into the hood itself you run into a whole nother nightmare, the under side of my fiberimage hood has a skeleton around the outside edge, exacylt where you need to put the lock. The large washers you see in the pic go on top as well as on the bottom insde the hood so the locks wont pull through the hood. i had to drill the holes and then put a slot with a die grinder on the back inside of the skeleton to slide the wasker into the inside of it , so i could put the washer on the lock as well as the locking nut. I wish I had some better pics to show you what I'm talking about.
