i have read that an 89 integra intake manifold will add HP if you bolt it to your ZC motor, is this true cause at my local junkyard there are 3 of these integras with full motor still in them and its a u pull it, so i can get the manifold for real cheap, i will prolly have it P@P while its off too.

 

I have no idea on that. Are they physically any different than the JDM blacktops? I wouldn't imagine that there is any hp to be gained from that, but who knows. I'm currently working on a B series throttle body adapter plate for the ZC, hoping to pick up a little response and flow through that, find out when it hits the dyno.

 

why dont you just get a dohc 240sx throttle body and use it. I beleive its a 64mm throttle body. Alot of people are using them on vairious cars because they bolt up or can be made to bolt up.

 

they do look different, i was looking at them yesterday, and i dont just mean the TB, i mean the entire intake manifold.

 

they do not bolt up to ZCs.

 

As far as I know the ZC intake manifold is a one off part. Meaning you can replace the ZC intake manifold with...........a ZC intake manifold. Nothing else will bolt up.
