Cam gears or exhaust?
I had my JRSC pulled and sent off because it was chattering. I decided to get some work done while my car is out. I told him I was going to do cams sometime later in my build, so he said to do cam gears. Now, I have no problem spending money on my car, if it will help. But, I have a N1 exhaust, and I just got my silencer, I will NEVER run without it again, I got too tired of the noise. So, my question.....If this silencer is totally robbing power, especially under boost, should I hold off on the cam gears and get a different muffler? If so, what muffler should I get welded up? Thanks,

Good idea...but wont it cost an arm and a leg? I couldnt care less how it looks....So I may as well go to a muffler shop and get a generic bolted on, just making sure it was good diameter inlets and outlets. Anyone else?

don't get a generic muffler.....for your n1 i don't think there is too much power difference between using the silencer and not using the silencer...just drive around with the silencer on and later when you feel like hearing your exhaust noise again, take if off....spend you money on something else.
