aftermarket brake upgrade
for the 4th gen what brake kit upgrades are available. I considered Wilwood because they are good and inexpensive but the only honda application they make is civic and integra... so what else is there.. i realize you can do nsx or legend calipers but im looking for a nice aftermarket brake system slightly larger rotor more then single piston caliper etc..
AEM makes a 4th gen Big brake upgrade....otherwise, Powerslot makes a great rotor, I use powerslot with Axxis Pads....Stop pretty damn quick
hope this helps

Don't get the AEM kit...we all argued several times..and decided that it doesn't do ****. (do a search, you will find a gang of threads.)
I would go w/the NSX/Legend upgrade if I was you.

ahhh didnt know that...sorry didnt know about the countless times youve talked about AEM rotors....I still reccomend the Powerslot Rotors and Axxis Pads...I feel that its a good all round combo
but I havent heard anything but good about doing a Legend Upgrade

What are your reasons for getting a big brake kit?? Most people get big brake kits for show. Is that your reason or are you actually going to make use of it??
If you are planning on using your car for track purposes a big brake kit MIGHT be a good idea. Most people don't realize that big brake kits are for serious racing. I think most like to buy them just so they can tell people they have it.
I have a friend with a 95 M3. He is a HARDCORE racer. He uses his factory calipers. He uses blank rotors and modified brake pads. He said that is really all you need. He recommended to me not getting the slottted/drill rotors either.
I upgraded my brake system because I am going to use my car for daily driving/track events/autoXs. I got the Legend calipers, Brembo blank rotors, and Axxis ultimate pads. Stops VERY well and they don't fade.
If you really aren't going to use your car for serious tracking I would just do my upgrade. Otherwise you are wasting money on a mod that you really aren't going to benefit from.
Hope this helps.
