Default Falken Ziex ZE-512 opinions

Well its time for my fiancee (who is into cars and will possibly do an auto-x or 2 this season) to purchase a set of tires for her 96 civic. We have been looking at the Falken's listed above and just wanted a few REAL user opinions. To give you a rundown of driving style I would say moderate to aggressive with an occasional drive in the snow. Any input would be helpful. TIA

they suck in the snow, they're a very hard tire and just dont grip very well in the try. Try bridgestone potenza RE950 if you see occasional snow use.

I have a set in St. Louis. They work in the snow but they are far from a snow tire. They are good in the dry and the wet. Overall for my winter all season I like them. I know someone with the 502 (?) and he likes those as well. I don't know how they will be in the summer heat or for autocross but, for what I use them for, winter all seasons that do see some snow I like them.

I've got a set waiting to go on my rims as all season tires. I'll use te Azenis for Summer duty.

They're junk. The Dunlop SP Sport A2 is a way better all around choice IMHO.

You asked

how much do you want to spend? Yokohama, Bridgestone both make good all-season tires.

Id say $50-$60/tire. Give or take. TIA
