There's a little 'pin thing' on the intake arm (at the back) furthest away from the throttle body. Its supposed to be connected to a tube that goes to a canister on the firewall.

Can somebody tell me what this is, and is it important? Will my car still run if i dont hook this up? im asking this, coz that little pin thing of mine broke off!!
