Default standalone tuning on the eastcoast (NJ)

all the guys that are from the east coast where did you get your stanalone's tuned? I'm looking for a place that is not extremely far from north jersey. I don't want to know about a friends friend having something done, I want personal experience and recommendations on any standalone out there. looking to boost 15-16 psi on a sleeved GSR with of course JE pistons 9:1 and crower rods

You can contact Colin (EKB18c) on this HT board. he works RPM NYC.. might want to give them a ring @ 718-740-3277. Also Greg (Cheetah) can tune your car, he is right here in NJ, PM him for details... HTH, good luck man

Mid Atlantic Motorsports in Baltimore tunes the Electromotive units quite well...

right now I don't have a standalone system. I'm asking about tuners because I want to know what there specialty system is. there are a couple of places up by me but it seems like every car that they do tends to blow up. for example, my friends R made 263whp NA but it blew up. another example is my friends RX7. I know how sensative RX7's are to tuning but still he brought it to a rotary shop to get it tuned. anyway back to my scenerio, all i have right now is an assembled block with GE sleeves, crower rods and JE 9:1 pistons. I'm not looking for extreme power just enough for the 11.5-11.9 region. like I said before i haven't purchased a standalone yet because I don't know what types of systems people specialize in jersey. most important I don't want it to blow up like 90% of my friends. I want to know what to buy and who can tune that system
