check what the code on the tranny says... B20 all came with the AWD auto tranny so no way u could use it, 5spd oem is weird ..check the code and get back to us.

Wrong... there are manual & auto AWD CRV's, and FF auto CRV's as well i believe. Then there are the Orthia's, Stepwagons & SMX's which also come with B20bs.

its not auto so, its a jspec 5 speed tranny, can i use it? anyway to tell if it is for awd?

the thing im thinking is that an input/drive shaft has to "plug" into the tranny for the awd...soooo im thinkin if it aint there...theres gonna be oil commin out, or something that will be just as bad...also im thinking that the mounts wont line up and if you force it your gonna have all kinds of axle problems...
if i was you i would sell that biotch, and get a gsr tranny, b/c from the manual crv ive drivin (ima valet) the gearing is very similar to an ls tranny...i have a gsr tranny on my b20...and it is off the hizzle
