wow.. u must not spend to much time on the board... cuz there is a post i swear AT LEAST once a week with somebody saying how they love their ITR bar... and it grows to be like 6 pages long because everyone else who also loves theirs chimes in and responds in agreement.
But then once every two weeks we get someone complaining that they just installed their itr bar and that it is knocking or making strange noises and such... only to find after a page or two of replies that they installed it incorrectly. But Once corrected, they too will come back to say they now love theirs as well. haha.
And finally to my point...
I WANT ONE TOO!! haha.... anybody wanna sponsor this starving college student?

A very effective upgrade that you will notice right away.
Reduced body roll, rear end is stiffer and rear tires are more planted in high speed turns.

I don't beleive youll find one bad review about it --- hell, I would put money that wouldnt even find an indifferent review to it. People swear by it. And it really is THAT good.

mine is rattling around in my trunk too... once the warm weather comes, down goes the teg for some new suspension all around plus the itr rear swaybar and ES front swaybar bushings and endlink kit.
I don't really think you'll see a significant difference between the USDM and JDM sways --- I mean if you can find a decent price on a JDM why not go for it...but sticking with USDM is by no means shortchanging yourself.
I, like many of the members of this board would love to have this and i kno that those who have changed to it love it like i told you the do in my first reply, but do you guys ever wonder what difference is felt with the larger 26mm mugen bar that the itr guys upgrade to? I mean so many of us rs/ls/se/gs/gsr guys swear by the damn thing, but i wonder if the itr guys are unsatisfied wit their bars that they do this swap or does the mugen one actually make that much of a difference even???
Anyone else wonder the same thing?

well i just think that the 26mm might be 1) too stong and too easy for rear to break loose 2) or diddly squat in improvement from 22mm.
i'm about to make a homemade one in my friends shop for a total cost of about $22. i'll let you know how good it feels to be a cheapie like me as soon as the weather gets better.
alright it looks like im gunna go for it. thanx alot. you can buy one here http://geocities.com/bretq/swaybar_install.html for about $100.

If the car was still stock, putting this bar on would be overkill.
i just got mine installed a couple days ago and i love it. the difference is night and day. installation is pretty simple too. anyway...just my two cents worth.
thanks for your input... whats odd is that most of us that add the itr bar usually have some sort of suspension setup already...
But either way. thanks for the input. and btw how much does the mugen drop the itr?

Which one do you guys think would be better for my car, COmptech or Type-r?i would propably be able to get a really good price on the type-r bar, but which would be better?Plus i like the Tie bar from comptech, looks like it would help out a lot! Im currently trying to get the Comptech combo bars, but am not sure if i shuld spend that extra money for the tie bar and the sway bar. Any help would be great, and any of you with the Comptech set-up lemme hear how u like it.And what other type-r parts should i try to get that are swapable(not sure if thats a word) for my 97'GSR!
