Default Does Anybody know what this is?? Found it in my engine bay not 56k compatible
Well i was adjusting my HIDs, when i found this little rubber thing next to my hood latch. Sort of bothering me b/c my car has been making funny sounds and my car has been giving me alot of problems. Well the thing i found is on the left and on the right is a dime (for size reference)

yeah -- it looks like the dust cover for a bleeder valve of some sort.

Can you say MACRO shot?

Anyhow, that does not appear to be the nipple cover thats on the tranny, if thats what you guys are referring to. If we are on the same page, the nipple would have a small ventilating hole on the side of it and Im sure he would have taken an angle that includes it.

Also, what kind of noises are you hearing?

migs: clutch nipple. not tranny...fill/drain plugs are metal bolts.

look on the top of your tranny, there should look like a small pipe sticking straight out, it goes on top of that, it is a breather for the tranny

The nipple that goes on the tranny breather looks different than this one..

I say it goes in the trash can.
