TB and intake manifold needed.... I've heard going to big on the TB could lose power? Not sure if thats true but I wanted to get a 70mm tb and either a euro r intake or skunk when it comes out. Any suggestions or feedback on TB's like GUDE,ERICKS racing, Spoon or others? What kinda gains did u guys get? I figure anywhere from 3-10 hp? My car is fairly heavily modded.

 

the only way to get the most out of an over-sized TB is to have it match-ported w/ your intake manifold and have some head work to flow the extra air. The TB won't flow any air that the IM or head can't flow.

 

Have you ever tried taking off the IAB plate, I love it. But I approved with Euro R manifold.

But the answer to your question is you'll will gain HP through out the RPM
