Default CTR pistons and Cams in 00Si

Is this setup worth the money in my daily driver 00Si? CTR cams and pistons with comptech intake, JDM 4-1 header and chiped ecu. What kinda 1/4 times would I be making and whp numebers? Should I get CTR rods or just keep my stock ones and should I keep stock valvetrain or ITR?
Thanks for the help

Thats a pretty good setup for a daily driver. the thing is, u probably won't pick up ebough hp to make a big difference on the 1/4 mile.

Get a B18C bottomend and stuff it with CTR pistons. Use the Si B16a2 head with CTR or ITR cams. This combo has seen good numbers. There are a few people on this board that run this combo. Seems real reliable also.

BTW you can't use CTR rods in the B16a2 because the B16B(CTR motor) has a taller deck height. This means the rods are slightly longer.

You're talking about boosting compression by .6(10.2-10.8:1. Not worth doing IMO, unless you're opening her up for something already. The b16a crank has too short a stroke. Get a b18c bottom end($$$) or replace the crank & rods with b17 parts. This will essentially make your motor a b17a(92-93 GSR) with a compression of 10.7:1 w/ PR3(b16a) pistons or 11.3:1 w/ CTR(b16b) pistons. Oh hey and whaddya know I happen to know someone with these very same rare parts for sale! Can you believe it?!? They're here:
