Whats with skunk 2 and delays?
H22 intake manifold has been taking them way to long.... I'm thinking of just buying a euro r intake.... It's damn frustrating. What the hell is going on? Should I jst buy a euro r intake?
I sent them a short and to the point e-mail yesterday, asking for some damn answers.
Marc I'm getting one too, I almost bought a euro-r manifold the other day....and I have other buyers I could try to swing a group deal or something.

Sure I'll call the dealer here...I'm sure there would be a lot of buyers I could organize the groupbuy on the canadian side anyway..

I don't know if they know or care how many people are waiting on that IM. I had the Hondata IM gasket for so long waiting on the Skunk2 manifold that I sold the damn thing to my neighbor, it was just collecting dust.
An H22 group buy ought to be a cinch, on either side of the border. There's got to be a list a mile long of peeps just like us, if they haven't gotten pissed and bought the Euro by now. If they (Skunk2) respond to you satan_srv, please dude let us know I'm going insane; the cash I reserved for this has burned a hole in my pocket and I now have 2nd/3rd degree burns stretching down to my ankles.
skunk2 is GAY! I have to contact the dealer tomorrow.
I take it that means they gave you a lame reply?

I know they might find the inquiries annoying, but hey we're just trying to spend our cash on their products...
Went to the dealer today, nice guy they move a fair bit of skunk2. They called them right in front of me. They said:
End of March.
Some things I was told about Skunk2
1) They just moved and everything has become fucked up cause of that
2) They are turing out a ton of new products and R&D on the K series so it always takes priority etc etc.
looking at about $500

well dam,500 bucs?It shouldnt be no surprise to anyone.Geez, everyone and there mother has been bugging them about when its gonna come out, then of course they are gonna raise the price. Cuz they know we are just burnin to spend any kind of cash on this manifold.I really hope there is a big difference in it in comparison to the euro r manifold besides the point that we can mount the injectors and the idle valve like stock.
Wow!?!? $500??? I thought it was rumored at like $325? If it's $500, I'll spend my money elsewhere.

I'm sure he means $500 Canadian. U.S. MSRP is like $389 or something.

I hear ya'll on this. I have been looking and looking for a new Intake Mani for a while, but in all honesty, I think Skunk 2 will be the best. I am not going to settle for the less worthy, just to get one. I want a good one, period, so I don't have to f*ck around later. Please let me knwo when it comes out and the price. Thanks
It's not surprising that it's taking so long. Honestly, how high a priority is it for them?
I mean, there's NO competition for the product, so they know that it doesn't matter when it comes out - whatever demand that exists now will still be there whenever they put it on the market. Now, if they were to wait another year or two, that'd be stupid. There haven't exactly been a whole lot of new H22's hitting the streets lately . . . .
But from a business perspective, it only makes sense to focus their R&D energies on platforms that are experiencing a HUGE amount of interest & growth right now - the K series.
Doesn't mean I'm happy about it, they've been jerking us around for well more than year re: this stupid manifold, but what are we going to do . . . .
However, for someone with the time & facilities to do it, I think there's a nice opportunity here. Pick up a Euro-R manifold, make all the appropriate modifications for fitment, and make yourself a negative mold from it. Then commission someone to do some injection molding or casting - a run of 100 units is probably realistic for the current demand. For such a short term low-investment project, it seems to me like you'd make a tidy little profit. Not to mention you'd be worshipped in the Prelude community.
