its a black box that all my vaccum lines go into?when i put my b18 in do i still need this and connect the vac lines from the b18?

that is the crx hf map sensor, its exchangable with the map sensor from the si and dx (even sir), if (when) you do a swap, that map sensor has extra hoses for the hf only, i would sugest swaping this too a si unit so,
1.)you dont have extra hoses in your engine bay
2.) your swap runs better, (i believe) that map sensor has more "economia" purpose and a si unit would increase your performance.

 

That contains the MAP sensor, purge cutoff solenoid and EGR activation solenoid.

yep, only hf's have that i think

 

All of the 88-91 CRX's I have see have it..it's just not in a box..and the sensors are exsposed..

 

so when i swap my b18 in i can just hook up all the vaccum lines form the b18 to the box.??

does any one know a good site that may help me more on the swap?
