Questions re: Sleeving my JDM H22A
Hey guys ('n gals too, of course) 8-)
Aside from the fact that the setup I'm currently building up on my JDM H22A is going to REQUIRE me to have to get the block re-sleeved, what are my options out there? I've HEARD of Golden Eagle, and I've HEARD of AEBS, and I've HEARD of doing it locally. Who's had what done, and how well do they like their setup, reliability, and quality of work? Would you recommend it or perhaps something else?
I'm currently building my engine to run 20+ psi of boost fed through a F-Max turbo setup, and controled by Hondata's engine management system.
I was CONSIDERING having AEBS do the re-sleeving job, as I like their concepts and designs, but their www specifically notes that they do re-sleeving of 97 up H22's. Has there been a design change from the 4-5 gen h22's that would not allow me to have them re-sleeve my block?
Thanks in advance!

I suggest getting it sleeved by jg. They did my block and I have 566whp. Motor is perfect and has never given me any problems.

I'm going with Darton, mostly because the machine shop(locally) thats going to do the work doesn't recommend anyone but Darton. They are a little expensive as far as labor goes but they are recognized nationwide for their work. If you want a good deal on them a shop is selling them on groupbuycenter.com this is the cheapest i have ever seen them. You can also call Earl at Edge Bros Machine Shop in Jacksonville, NC. IM me if you want more info about them.

the 97-01 H22A4 is an open deck block.
I guess AEBS just makes the floating sleeves for open deck..
