Need assistance.... Rear Brake Swap for my CRX comming off a 00 Civic Si
Well basically, i have the 00 Civic Si Rear brake swap and dont have a clue on some items i will need to buy for this swap.
I know i need to buy a new e brake cable but does anyone know from what vehicle?
What do i reuse as far as whats on the crx, and what do i trash on the components i got from the civic.
I want to change the Master slave Cyl. but i dont want to change the booster. Will the cyl from the 90 crx be any help at all or is there something else available without having to remove the booster.
also please inform me of anything else you can think of.
Thanks in advance.
Chris

thats instructions for doing the 90-93 teg swap..... I have the 00 Civic Si which the ars and everything is different...
since I have done this before I'll tell you
you don't really need any parts, except for CRX e-brake cables.
You'll have to use your CRX lower control arms, and compensator arms (they are longer), the compensator arms on the Si brakes, are shorter, and will give you alignment problems (towards the front of the car like 4 inch long, 2 14 mm bolts holding it), and the rest of the stuff will bolt right in, very easy. After you done with it , most likely your steering wheel will be crooked, because your alignment is off now, so you'll need to do an alignment. And as for master cylinder you could either go with 90-91 civic EX master, or 88-89 integra master, they'll bolt right in.
