92 Civic DX hatch weight
Since search was unsuccessful, I decided to post a new topic about this.
My friend just purchased a 92 Civic DX hatch. I have a 90 CRX DX. We just swapped a B18C1 into his hatch, and i'm in the middle of a b16a swap. I already know how heavy his B18C1 is vs. the stock motor; can anybody tell me the stock curb weight of the 92 Civic DX hatch? I want to know how much of a weight advantage I have over him, which i'm guessing there's not a huge difference.

Well when we weighed my stock 90 Civic DX with no back seats and no spare tire, it weighed 1950lbs. Not too bad. I would say the CRX would be less than that with the DX being about 2-300 lbs over waht the 90 weighed. Just a guess though. The B18c1 will pull through in the end though. Ive seen a b18c 92 hatch smother a 91 CRX B16a.
