i just changed my oil and went to start it up to check for leaks and **** and the ignition wont even turn? ive never had a probem with the ignition before. it is like negitive 15 outside so i was expecting some risistance but why wont the ignition even turn. tahnks

sometimes you have a dead spot on your alternator and have a hard time starting the car. This is normal due to wear and tear.

 

i had this problem before... it started of by me pushing the button for my alarm, but wouldn't work. i figured my alarm key needed a new battery, so i juss opened my car the old fashion way, with the key. i got into the car and tried to start it. it wouldn't start, i figured the car's battery was drained cause i also tried to use the power locks and i got no response. anyways, i have a poorly bolted on MSD SCI ignition, and when i popped the hood, it was hanging loose. I guess it got ground'd out. I juss had to jump start the car and fix the whack bolting. I never had the problem again... meaning to say that something might be grounding out your system. a poorly wired stereo or amp, that's wired to always be on could also be a problem. i had a friend with this problem. i hope find what the problem is, cause what the use of fix'n up your ride for more HP and TQ if it won't even start.
