I'm starting to get into the drag racing scene and need some opinions on what size slicks to run. I will have to run a 15in rim, since my hatchback has the ITR conversion done to it. So I will need a rim that is 5x114.3 that is 15in tall, but I still dont know how wide to get, and then what size slick to get. I was thinking that I'd get around a 24in slick, but i've had problems finding a 24in slick for a 15in rim.

Any help would be great. The hatch back will put out in the range of 300-350whp.

You wont find 24.5 inch slicks in a 15 inch size, i think 26 inch is the closest size you will find, and i dont think you want to run those whatsoever. With 350Hp, your ideal size would probably be 24.5x13x8. i realize you may have a problem finding 13 inch rims, i think maybe you can custom order then from Bogart, but im not 100% sure. id look into it if i was you.. MH makes a 23x7.5x15

 

I have to get 15in, because the brakes/calipers are 15ins, so a 13in rim won't possibly fit.

 

since you guys are talking bout slicks and Drag wheels here, I got some questions. Do anyone know anything bout the VOLKS TE37 drag wheels? do u have to use spacers and extened studs for them? just info like that cause I am in the process of getting some but would like toknow some info on it first, just let me know every little info on them. thanks

 

I have sold quite a few BOGART 15x8 wheels and most of them have had the M&H 23x7.5x15 slicks combo. hit me up if you have any questons.
