GSR cams, ITR Valvesprings/retainers
Right now I'm running stock B16A head(AUTO) cams/valvetrain. I'm going to swap in stock Gsr cams but to avoid valve float above the stock redline(of my auto b16 springs), I'm going to use the ITR's. But, are the ITR springs too stiff for the GSR cams?
Is anyone running this setup? TIA.

I don't think you will have a problem. Due to the fact that the GS-R cams have less duration than the Type-R ones they might even be better off with these springs and retainers. In theory it should be easier to turn the GS-R cams over than the Type-R ones. (
somebody correct me if I'm wrong

I would also like to know what this combination safely raises the rev limit to on a boosted GS-R?

I'm running in a stock b16a2 w/; gsr cams, skunk2 springs &Ti retainers, rev limit set at 9500rpm, shift light set for 1st-2nd and 2nd-3rd at 9k, and 3rd-4th at 8K. Pulls hard right to the top! All of my work was done by Payne Tech's old mechanic, Kevin at Specmo Sound and Speed.
