Default should I remove my ear section for the track?

Imma go back to the track next week with much better tires, alot less weight and hopefully a better launch, im going for 15.0 in a stock LS (cept catback but its a WS so gains are minimal), anyways im thinking about unbolding the rear section right after the resonater, so its just a straight pipe. think the gains are even worth it? i mean the WS muffler is kinda big and doesnt flow THAT great.....
