Just wondering if i got a new intercooler with the same width (24 inch) but a different height, would I have to get my piping rewelded, or could I just bolt it right up ?

if the IC inlets sit in the same place when mounted no., However with it being taller youi may have to mount it differently, and then you would have to redo certain sections.

again, its all about where the inlets are when its mounted.
