what better way then to compliment my Type-R with something that revs even higher and has 2 wheels!

That's a great starter bike. It's nice and light, lower seat-to-ground distance, and smaller body width.
Be safe with it though. It's not you that will hit someone else, as bikes have the best braking, but it's someone that will hit you, as people are not aware bikers on the roads.
