Default Recipe for 13 sec h23 5th gen accord?

ok I'll soon be picking up my H23 (minus head). I know this drop in swap usually nets mid to low 15's. Turbo is definitly on the list. I'm looking to dip into the 13's. Any suggestions? H22 head maybe?

Add 2 cups of fully built bottom end, a pinch or two of fuel system upgrades, and a dash of port and polish. Mix together and torque to specs. Bake (Dyno tune) for 5 hours on high. Enjoy a tasty Accord treat!!

sounds good except I didn't really want to have to build the bottom end(sleeve it). If that's the case, I'd go all out. Could I sneak by with new oem pistons and shot peened rods with low boost?

h22 head would be a helluva lot more work than if you just stuck with h23 head, and it cost would probably be more than it's worth. Another thing to worry about would be reliability issues (as with all frankie motors), espcially if you plan to hit 13's.

The Nicosil linings will be a pain to bore.

I wouldnt spend $ on OEM pistons when they are more than what forged ones cost.

If your not going to sleeve it, just leave the stock bottom end and spend $ on tuning.
