Painting moldings on a honda ...
wanted to re-paint the moldings on my car after an accident scuffed them up.
I would usually sand the molding down, clean it with goo-b-gone, then paint a few coats, then put on the clear coat.
It seems to work fine but after a few months it gets dingy and ugly.
Whats the proper way to ensure a good clean paintjob on a plastic molding without an expensive plastic adhesive.
Any thing that they would sell at a Kragens or Pepboys that acts as an adhesive thats a few bucks a can?
