Default Just a few pics from the garage tonight...

I was bored and didn't get much done on the race car. Civic_Sista had to work all night so I decided to just chill at the garage. Things are still looking a little rough, but it's moving forward. Next week the interior will be painted.

the aluminum dash is sweet. You made it right? Build quality is excellent.

The car is a DX which did not come with Powersteering, so I actually ADDED powersteering to it.

The rack and PS stuff is from an ITR. I wanted a shorter rack and I did want power steering. So why did I add PS?

This car will be sitting on a 225 width slick mounted to wheels using a 5mm offest spacer. I also run a 12.6" steering wheel, which is pretty small. You try piloting a car like that around the paddock and grid.... it ain't easy. The powersteering allows your steering input to be slightly quicker which is critical for the type of racing I do.

Keep in mind the car is not being built for running up and down a straight line.

You can read all about the dash here:
