the vafc has been installed, but has only been in my car for a couple of months.. its as good as new, and i will let it go for 260... i will even sell it with the pocket assembly i customized for the 5th gen.. looks great let me know if you are interested

Sam: i know, i know.. after all the shiat i have been through right?? lol... but i am selling everything and buying a bike.. go figure. lol.. my best friend just got one, and i got bit by the bug (again..) funny thing is i sold my old bike to go boost.. and now i am going back to the bike.. everyone says i am nuts, and that at this rate i will never make up my mind.. lol..

As for the VAFC, ryan will tell ya it hasnt been in the car all that long and is in excellent condition... i will sell the entire thing and throw in the pocket assembly pictured above for 260.00 plus shipping..

We've all been there....everyone I know that has forgone the boost to get a bike has either a) wrecked it or b) gotten sick of the bike and sold it, so they lose money on their turbo parts one time and then have to buy everything all over again......

dude as is, i just got back from riding, and i am already giving it all thought.. all i have sold thus far is the FMU... so i guess i seriously got some inner demons to deal with and figure out what the hell i want to do.. Bike or Boost... (this wouldnt be the first time i deal with this situation.. it started long before "biker boys" sam.. lol i had a bike before i had a lude...

 

**** yeah get a bike.

 

**** the bike..... if you crash hauling *** in your Lude, you have a much better chance of survival than if you crash ahuling *** on a bike..... something to think about...

 

Bikes are badass, I want to get a bike also.......problem is, they get old. Like I said, everyone I know who has forgone doing something expensive to their car just to get a bike has gotten tired of it, sold it or wrecked it, and gone back to cars.....heck, even my partner Sean sold his R1 to get another fast car because he never got a chance to go out riding and it got old.
Another guy in my prelude club got an F3 for like 5 grand, loved it and rode around, then wrecked it out riding. 5 grand would have turboed a prelude and had some leftover to start building a motor......
The other problem is (and I'm sure FL is no different) is that it's totally unsafe to ride on the roads during normal traffic. The fact is, people don't pay attention, and a lone bike has a much better chance of getting slammed by a red-light-running SUV soccer mom than a car. It's only safe to ride in a group, and unless there are 5 or 6 coworkers who take lunch at the same time as you and ride bikes, you're riding alone to work.....
Sorry for the essay, I've just seen a ton of people (everyone actually) who have done this (sold/forgone car and car stuff for a bike) regret it in the long run simply because of an impulse to get a bike....
If you really can't get rid of the bug, borrow a friends bike to go out riding occasionally, or get together with 1 or 2 people and all go in on a bike together and take turns (remember kids, sharing is caring ) LOL
