im replacing the passenger side airbag cover with an other one. Do i need to disable the airbag or can i simply pop off the cover?

If nothing else, couldn't you just pull the fuse or something? I just wouldn't feel safe popping off the cover with the SRS on.

 

ok according to user Willard u disable it by unhooking a yellow plug thats right above the glove box slot. Got that done. But i need to know if the cover can be yanked out or do i need to remove the airbag first.
