Default 5th gen steering wheel

Is it just me or does anyone else think the steering wheel is too big? Anyway, is it possible to install a smaller honda steering wheel such as from a itr or something? So as to keep the airbag. Or has anyone switched theirs with something else like momo or something? thanks

i agree, its not just you who thinks the steering wheel is a lil large... i notice it most when i'm backing out of a parking lot when i use my left hand to rotate the steering wheel while i shift from Reverse to 1st...

oh i heard that if u change steering wheels, you lose airbag and ****, plus if isurance company finds out then rates go up because you lose safety feature...

Yeah it is huge. I am 6'5" and the wheel rubs on my knees sometimes. I think a wheel from a 3rd gem Imtegra would be awesome. They ar smaller diameters and are a meaty wheel. It feels nice and thick in your hand. Anyone tried this?

I agree I want a small diameter streering wheel, it's way to big.

that and if you get pulled over and a cop sees the SRS logo and you don't have a airbag you're screwed.

i think it would be awesome to have the s2000 steering wheel, it looks good, smaller diameter, and nice feel. some one should try it.

I wouldnt mind having an S2000 steering wheel on my lude but the stock wheel doesnt bother me at all....actually I love it because every day twice a day i up and down my main road...which happens to be twisties so its a little easier for me to maneuver....

You LIKE the bigger wheel for going through twisties?!?!?

(speachless due to confussion)

to each their own i guess....
EDIT: ok.....well now i am completely confused, i was under the impresion you wanted a smaller wheel for turning and so on, which i why i posted this question...but now i am being told that a bigger wheel is easier to turn by someone else also...ok, so now that i am second guessing myself, can somebody clarify please???

Yes, the s2000 steering wheel is pretty much a bolt on for the prelude. A few people on prelude online.com have done it and it looks awesome. I have one sitting in my garage awaiting installation.

Is it me, or do the s2000, rsx, and Si streering wheels all have the same basic design. I know the finishing touches are unique on each, but if the s2k wheel fits, so should the rest of them, right?
