your 2 cents on 91 ls

do a compression test, smell the oil, check tie rods (try to turn the wheels with the car off), and first and foremost have the dealership give you a carfax report, or other full history. as a dealer they have to disclose the full known history of the car when requested (meaning any accidents, etc.) so if something has happened to it you have to be informed by law.
go for it I paid 1300 for my 90 ls it had no exauhst at all just the top half of the manifold and a bunch of other things were missing it had about 160k but once I put in all the missing parts and I never had a problem with it with all that milage on ther car I have still done modifications on it has stage 2 cam few other things and a 100 shot of Nos in it so far so good I cant wait to test it at the track it really pulls on the street
