Hi everyone i have a question concerning if the 2001 acura integra ECU will plug up to my 2000 honda civic EX engine harness? Will they plug and play with no modifications or are there there modifications needed? if anyone knows please help me..i am getting mixed feed back from local people around here...thanks again!

It does use the same connectors. I was at a disadvantage when I was sent a 96-98 OBD2 ECU for my 99. plugNplay? No.

are you saying the 01 ecu---->00 harness is not plug and play or the 96-98 ecu--->00 harness is not plug and play?

yes you can use 99-01 ecu in your 99-00. i have several 99 ECUs for sale if interested. only $80 a piece

 

my buddies had some weird *** thing in it that had to be removed

 

immobilizer maybe?? but i have that covered...im gonna keep the immobilizer because i have the keys and ignition to the motor to make it work...

 

Just wanted to let everyone know that the 2001 LS ECU does plug and play into my 2000 Civic Harness! Just did it today!

i heard that you can also go to the dealer to get it removed or get the imobilizer thats for your car.. or something like that along those lines. not sure

 

You can go to the dealer to have them recode your key. Just make sure you bring all the paperwork that came with the motor...

 

How much would that cost?
